For starters there already have been two certain people for whom Zoro undoubtly cares for, that have been ‘taken against their actual will and held hostage’, Sanji and Robin
Still, that was his reaction when finding out Robin sacrificed herself for them.
And this after he found out about the Sanji deal.
worried yes, incredibly emotional, close to tears…big no.
The thing is tho, that they’re both not the best examples because A) Zoro is closer to Chopper, Luffy and Brook for instance and B) Sanji and Robin are two grown ass adults that made the conscious decision to go to their possible tormentors for the sake of their crew.
Yet..imagining Zoro to go berserk because he’s so angry and cannot think straight…does not really feel like him, much less after the time skip.
Even when he sacrificed himself for Luffy (if you don’t think that Luffy along with Chopper and Kuina is the most important person in the world to Zoro you have to fight me) he was all calm and thought things through.
Zoro is not an aggressive person that can get overwhelmed by his emotions, yes I know people are going to point to his enemies he dealt with in quite a…violent way.
But brutality doesn’t equal aggressiveness and lack or restraint, Zoro brutalizing his opponents is a decision he makes right before he attacks them, they’re has not been one point where he was so furious he was unable to hold back, he is able to hold back, he chooses not to and go all wide eyed and evil grinning on his opponents.
Sanji tho,
Sanji yes yes yes absolutely Sanji is just like you have described in your ask, Sanji is nowhere near as brutal or violent as Zoro but he completely lacks restraint sometimes.
When Sanji gets angry he attacks his opponents without thinking twice and is only concerned with the asshole he is attacking/the person he is avenging or protecting with that.
Sanji was not able to keep his cool, his fury overode his common sense and he lashed out completely without thinking twice.
He was overwhelmed by his emotions.
So yeah coming back to your ask Zoro is unlikely to go crazy out of anger, while it sounds very much like Sanji
Sanji may be analytically and tactically gifted and seems to be cool mostly yet he is the one who is hotheaded and easily angered and provoked and more likely to be let by his emotions.
Zoro may be more the idiot whose usual way to go is to just chop and cut through everything he faces, yet he is the one with a kind of calculating vein, brutal nature and the ability to restrain himself and hold back.
Idk about you but it’s very cool how Zoro and Sanji are kinda similar and then again utterly different in some ways.
Nami’s body is able to withstand painful blows from trained assassins
Nami’s body is strong enough for Sanji to be able to do his blue walk while being inside her body after Law swapped them
Nami’s body is able to survive fatal blows, strikes and other pressure from powerful enemies
Nami’s body is strong enough to effortlessly dodge the strong blow of a fishman
Nami has trained and is able to use her clima tact as a melee weapon
Over the years Nami has been severly harmed and injured a lot
AND YET
THIS IS HOW HER BODY LOOKS LIKE
NOT A SINGLE VISIBLE MUSCLE ALTHOUGH USOPP GOT BEEFY AS HECK AND NOT A SINGLE SCAR ALTHOUGH SHE’S BEEN THROUGH AS MUCH SHIT AS FUCKING LUFFY AND ZORO WHO KEPT THEIR SCARS
There is absolutely nothing “unfeminine” about scars, there is nothing “unfeminine” about muscles, muscles are the biological consequence of goddamn training, a human being has muscles after putting their body through something like this, if they want to or not.
Designing Nami like this is disrespecting her strenght, her fighting abilities and everything she survived and powered through.
married to Daz Bones (I thank @ask-sir-crocodile for making me ship them xD)
goes to the opera/theatre/ballet regularly as he is a stereotypical, cultivated, snobby, rich dude
plays candycrush on his iphone
purposely wears real animal fur to piss off activists
everyday he and his husband take another route or path when they’re walking with their dogs and everyday Doflamingo somehow finds them on his jogging tour and annoys them
friends with Boa Hancock. they often visit each other at their respective giant ass mansions
works as some sort of underling of Dragon, but Dragon pays well so he can’t really complain
he’s an old dude, around 50 I’d say
Koala and him hang out a lot together
he also hangs out a lot with Jinbe at his Dojo
Whenever Jinbe is sick it’s usually either him or Koala who take over classes for the kids
once Luffy came over with his little boy soccer team he was coaching along with Carrot on top of that while Hack was having tea with Jinbe and Luffy was just having field day with the boys, Carrot and their cool uncles
He totally forced Hack to show the boys and himself some cool moves
Hatchi
used to be in Arlong’s gang that was beat up by firefighter apprentice Luffy
after he was released from prison for good behaviour he opened his now renowned ‘Takoyaki service’
Keimi has a small crush on him and she’s one of his beloved steady costumers along with Brook
I believe he’d be…around thirty? I’m not too sure with his nationality hc but I think he’d still have a sort of footballer built
And I hope somebody would talk him out of that hidious hair cut, because that shit is all fine and dandy in the OP world, but Hachi it won’t survive in the modern au
Shyarly
she’s still a fortuneteller/psychic and works at home and she totally believes in all the stuff she forsees for the people who pay her a visit
Nami and Vivi both like to come by every now and then so Sharly can tell them when they should plan their trips and such Nojiko told Nami to stop spending money on that nonsense
Usopp stopped by too once and asked her why Ace doesn’t seem to like him
she visits Arlong in prison every once in two weeks
I feel like she would look like she does in the manga, she’d still be very tall but ehhh tall for regular humans and she wouldn’t have those sharp teeth anymore but other than that she’d look like in the manga
