so i heard that one of the abandoned naruto movie ideas was the switched lives theme and i’ve been thinking about that since

it’s p obvious that the jinchuuriki and the uzumaki clan would take the uchiha clan’s place for naruto and his parents would function as some kind of itachi, his father choosing/having to choose the village over family and his mother being used by the village n all

but idk about sasuke, his story cannnn’t really be twisted in a way to fit naruto’s

anyway i already drew their alternative outfits. i left naruto’s shirt like that cuz showing off jinchuuriki pride would be a main part of his agenda and the coat is obligatory because it’s there in sage mode/KCM mode/hokage uniform so i wanted to put it here too (also…you know…. sasuke wouldn’t be queercoded anymore since he’d be the protag and the Good Guy and he’d have a shirt on and………………….. ( ͡° _ʖ ͡°)

PLEASE   THIS IS SO COOL   gaara traveling the world looking for new kinds of sand   gaara discovering v important differences between land and sea sand   gaara seeing if he can convince bounty hunters/enemy nin that all his sand-themed names are different people entirely   gaara getting his friends to help   naruto gleefully helping ‘yeah gaara of the white sand is my bff but gaara of the red sand is a real dick’   mei terumi going along w/ it ‘gaara of the sea sand? yeah i know him. he really hates that land sand guy tho’   temari and kankuro telling diff people diff things to fuck w/ them like implying they only know one to each person   ‘oh yeah red sand’s a real cutie isn’t he?’ ‘we’ve known black sand forever!’ ‘but really white sand’s a good guy’   gaara making little creations out of multi-colored sand and giving little animal figures to kids   (gaara making them dance around to amuse said kids)   shukaku materializing out of gaara’s sand and ending up looking tie dyed   gaara becoming the sand’s “’’yellow flash”“ bc of tons of enemies dropping dead to his white sand gas thing   gaara grimly melting an enemy’s limbs one by one w/ his black sand tar to get info out of them   gaara learning badass taijutsu that fits him and working in his sand like bending in atla!!   just gaara man

but basically, gaara comes to be able to control many different types of sand, which leads to him picking up many different names in accordance (gaara of the black sand, gaara of the white sand, gaara of many sands, etc) and they all have different attributes and abilities, and he can combine them to make them even more versatile and deadly. here is but a taste of his power

-dont end the manga so suddenly

-continue it until you find a solution to the hyuuga clan, sasuke, and the circle of hatred

-dont go against the main message of your story after 15 years

-write a proper ending

-avoid pairing off characters

-everyone is satisfied. they wont stop buying merchandise nor abandon the series

-now you can make a movie

-a romance-free movie

-people will actually watch it

-$$$ and respect

-nobody cares if the manga doesnt end on a round number

  • otsutsuki dojutsu users
  • come from noble clans of konoha
  • wanted fathers approval but were overshadowed by prodigies
  • tender relationship with older brother figure that becomes extremely hostile and antagonistic
  • but then the older brother figure dies protecting them out of love
  • character development driven largely by naruto i.e. they become strong because of naruto/naruto inspires them
  • sasuke sacrificing his life for naruto in the land of waves arc, hinata sacrificing her life for naruto in the pein arc
  • their part one hairstyles are actually quite similar
  • theyre both fire/lightning natures?????? why
  • sun symbolism with hinata, moon symbolism with sasuke
  • uchiha clan symbol is a fan for flames, hyuuga clan symbol is a flame
  • shishi rendan (lion combo) vs twin lion fists
  • according to one of the databooks sasuke got the second lowest marks in assertiveness at the academy?? and it goes without saying that hinata definitely got the lowest
  • both obsessed with naruto
