Okay but now I want fic of Steve’s time (weeks? months? years?) with the travelling show. Who wanted to break into Broadway, or the talkies? The guy he’d punch out every show, was that one guy with one role, or did the band and stage crew take turns? Did the showgirls take Steve out drinking afterwards and use him to win bets because he can drink anyone under the table now? Did he ever let anyone see his sketchbook?
Did he do his own stage-make-up for the shows, and get so flustered when someone else came after him with a brush for the short film segments? Do the showgirls brag about him to the film actors?
And did he get so, so awkward over “fondue” because he was absolutely sure he’d heard every euphemism under the sun by now?
posting to share the great work these black women are doing. NOT to start some stupid ass “black men vs black women” argument. keep that bullshit to yourself coon.
I’m working in my city to register voters and engage with folks who just don’t believe their vote counts. The energy of the black women who are my comrades, be they teens or great grandmothers, is inspiring. They are the foot soldiers in the struggle for justice. There’s nothing like watching a 80-yr-old woman walk into a room on two canes to spend the afternoon phone banking.
These women, and others working for the same goal, deserve so much for their help. If you are 18 or older and live in the US and haven’t registered to vote yet, this is your reminder!
assuming shouto is like 8 here dabi would be anywhere between like. 15 and 19? at the time period this flashback takes place in. depending on whether or not you buy eldest eldest or twin theory re: his age.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million of times! Inko Midoriya is the best mother and the best hero in the entire series! I would drop everything right now to tell you how amazing she is!
She’s by far the most realistic mother in anime history – she’s afraid for her child and know that she right not be able to do anything, giving her reasons to worry and stress and feel a bit self-conscious about herself. Right off the bat we learn that she blames herself for not being able to give Izuku a quirk, a characteristic you rarely see in background character parents.
On top of that, she’s raising Izuku Midoriya all by herself, this single mother may feel inept about her parenting but considering Izuku, our protagonist, is the most selfless, kind, generous, and fucking fANTasTIC and reAListic shounen jump protag, she’s obviously doing something great
i got so .… much love for this woman and i want to celebrate her today with this comic. Also a shoutout to all the single mothers out there, you’re my hero!! Keep being that strong self and raising those kids to be the best they can be!
He’s not pinin! He’s passed on! This mutant is no more!
He has CEASED to be!
He’s expired and gone to meet his maker! He’s a stiff! Bereft of life! He rests in peace! If you hadn’t nailed him to the flogging jute, he’d be pushing up the daisies!
His metabolic processes are now history! He’s off the jute! He’s kicked the bucket! He’s shuffled off his mortal coil! Run down the curtain and joined the bleedin choir invisible!!
