listen gamzee is a GREAT villain and antagonist but i can’t stan him knowing that he’s 1) an incarnate of evil 2) chooses actively to BE evil and become his true self by dooming timelines and absorbing himself over and over again and 3) also c’mon!!! [s] game over gamzee was literally abusing his girlfriend, by choice! cal was an influence in the sense that he showed him what he could be, and gamzee took it!!!!
meanwhile vriska is a character who was fucked over by her society and was being constantly psychologically and physically (and in the case of doc scratch, sexually) abused by her guardians, forced to murder other children in order to save her own ass, and then yknow, was manipulated by the dude who had caused her species to become exceedingly violent and Never Had A Chance To Succeed.
but upon entering SGRUB, gamzee (who had a good childhood tbh and SUPER great status) and vriska (who yknow. had the shittiest upbringing of any of the trolls) both lost alternia and what it meant to them, which was simultaneously freeing & healing (vriska) and a cause for new power & destruction (gamzee).

fuck it, since everyone else is doing it, here is some recent Homestuck art. I don’t draw a lot because I can’t really bring myself up to do it very often, so, there isn’t lots and I improve veerrrryyy slowly.. But Homestuck is what got me into drawing.
