i really just want Law to get some tea (i know he doesn’t like bread, but I don’t know if he likes tea, i’m assuming he does because i didn’t want to look it up after already drawing this) and be piled in blankets and bandages when the Dressrosa arc is over and done with. He’s gonna be on the Strawhat’s Sunny while they party and he’s given himself required bed-rest for like a month. Luffy is less than thrilled. But gives Law some more fuckin blankets.

(oh and saisai-chan this is your fault, i reigned in my love for this series, but the constant exposure to your blog and one piece posts has forced me to return.)

@rei-the-rat I feel like I used to see it in fan art a lot. Maybe from Japanese fans more than English fans. But the basis is the hc that Sabo feels Law is ‘stealing his brother’ or that Law looks “creepy” and is therefore not a good pick for an ally for Luffy and just??? His brothers would trust his decision. They’d say the same as Robin on Punk Hazard which was that he’s sometimes too trusting so to be careful, but ultimately Luffy has got a good intuition about people, so if he likes Law, then it’s probably ok. All that ON TOP OF the fact that Law saved Luffy and Jimbe’s hides at Marineford. 👍

Clarification confirmed. Still a little weird in my opinion though. I guess because I’ve never viewed Law as a creep. He’s been creepy, but so has Robin. And really, I’ve never seen Sabo give any opinion toward Law. I think the worse opinions towards him (aside from some obvious ones) is he scares Usopp a little, and Chopper that one time, and Kid’s initial view of him seems pretty sour and only gets worse.

Usopp and Chopper were only scared of him on Punk Hazard. After that they’re fine with him. Usopp was comfortable enough with him to get in his face and yell at him in Dressrosa lmfao. But the stuff he says scares him, like saying that Kaido has an army of hundreds of artificial Zoan users. THAT scares Usopp, but it’s not Law himself. The Straw Hats are fine with Law as a person.
