parentswap au stuff but i feel like inko tried really really hard to make Having A Family work & and like….it wasn’t a decision made lightly by any means. giving up izuku & her and hisashi’s relationship going up in smoke are probably v related events? like who even knows what happened to that guy– he vanished or died or couldn’t handle being in a relationship w/ japan’s #1 hero or whatever– but without him to help raise izuku & with all for one presumably Starting Shit she just. she couldn’t do it.

this is such a tiny detail and i’m ignoring the Big Questions on purpose but i feel like inko actively dislikes enji waaaaay more then toshinori does, because like…..she picked up on him being a Fuck. maybe not _that_ much of a fuck, but a fuck.
it’s like….partially bc inko is a Girl & i think more inclined to pick up on certain warning signs and also i think enji would have been shitty to her in Gendered Ways being….enji….
& also unlike how it probably is w/ toshinori she’s not the same age as him or older– it’s like, a 3 year age gap & she’s younger? so i dunno i think enji Especially doesn’t appreciate some freshman vibrating up past him to spot #1 u know.
