At first, I also want to make a Heart Pirates origin doujin for the last Shonen Jump only event in my place last April, but in the end I decided to go with the lawlu one because the concept was already near completed compare to the HP origin one. Still want to make a comic about HP origin sometimes though….

I just felt a need to gif one of my fave scenes in the entire series yah know. the quote’s a bit iffy since i mean sabo’s perfectly willing to beat a motherfucker up but he’s gentle too and that’s a different kind of strength he possesses (via Sableu)

So a BIG feeling I’m getting from Zou and the Mink Tribe is tradition. My guess is the Heart Pirates are staying in the forest because Bepo, for whatever reason, falls under that ruler while the Straw Hats were staying with the other ruler because Chopper was treating him, and both groups are supposed to stay in their zones, so to speak. They’re also kinda pushy on the Straw Hats needing to just accept that they do things like licking and biting and the dog Minks wanting to gnaw on Brook. I’m not sure if it’s just there for flavor or it’s going to tie into the plot, but it’s definitely the vibe I’m getting.
