After reading and watching the flashback of their childhood, this panel – awesome enough the first time I read it – has such a lot more weight to it to me. (Doesn’t the expression on Ace’s face look a lot more like his child self than any of the art with him in Alabasta or the Blackbeard fight ever did?) ;____________________;

The anime added Luffy’s expression in the second panel, and I think it looks great. ^_^

(I love it when Usopp’s the one to fish Luffy out of the water. He doesn’t do that as often as Sanji but it does happen.)
