tbh this very true. and smth I really HATE about the naruto fandom is that completely forget the neji was highly abusive to hinata until she was like 13. and her father never really stopped being abusive. but like they have the fucking nerve to hate on hinata for the way she reacted to nejis death??? LIKE LET ME TELL U A LIL SOME SOME ABOUT ACTUAL HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS. after being so abused by a person, then it would take about 5 years to even get on a stranger level with them and have a clean slate. 5 YEARS. IT DOESNT MATTER IF THEYRE FAMILY OR NOT. but for the sake of it, ill excuse the time limit to 3 years bc hinata is a ppl pleaser. SECONdLY: she reacted properly according to military standards for a non-medical soldier. if someone’s dying and some else is under attack or w/ever; U GO RESCUE THE PERSON U CAN ACTUALLY SAVE. this is even the same for medics. and of course the golden rule of ‘act now and react later’. This was probably the only time kishi ever wrote hinata well in my opinion.
People also get mad at the fact Hinata didn’t become head of the clan. Completely ignoring that she was never interested in the position and that her whole clan looked down on her until she proved herself ‘worthy’ by their standards

Hintata isn’t Naruto’s moon, canonically that’s Sasuke and I think it’s taking from SNS to assign her that role
I feel like Hinata would be Naruto’s sky, because yeah, okay, NaruHina’ s first kiss was in front of the moon(poor Sauce), but when they were experiencing the genjutsu memories, they were floating around in space (aka sky), and Hinata had always been there for Naruto, even if he never noticed before
People always noticed the moon, but how often do people notice and appreciate the sky as well? The sky is always there the sun, even when the sun outshines everything else, the sky never leaves, offering support from the background
There’s actually a lot of overlap with Sasuke and Hinata, tbh I think it has to do with the fact that both characters were made and designed to be very important to Naruto, so everything down to the shitty childhood (both had abusive papas, both were in the shadow of their siblings, both come from fancy clans, both have a bloodline they were expected to master as kids), to their damn color patterns (indigo, purple, grey), because Kishimoto knew these two people would be the most important to Naruto, he designed them to be two sides of the same coin
