oh also gaara takes school way too srsly for a multitude of reasons. its mainly fine but he gets a D in his european literature course freshman year of college bc he fucked up his final and sasuke has to give him a xanax to calm the fuck down. its stressful n he claims he chilled out by senior year but really he just has a tight schedule that he triple checks

gaara: when i look at him i feel like im home and its so odd and unfamiliar to long for something ive never had. ive never felt wanted in our house. ive never felt a sense of belonging. a feeling of compassion and want. but when i see naruto i feel it. i yearn to hold on to that emotion. i want nothing more than to just be near him. not even to touch him but to just look at him and feel deja vu for a time that has never existed for me.

hey, so I was wondering whether it was common knowledge that Kushina was a jinchuuriki? or was it secret? I really can’t seem to remember so I was hoping you could help me? and on that note, was it known that Mito was a jinchuuriki? i mean, i assume so…

I think it was common knowledge? After all, they sent Kushina into seclusion so that she could give birth, which I think implies a certain level of ‘oh people might use this against her’. And Mito probably was open about it too, since she’s the one who did the first sealing, and Hashirama did share the idea with the other nations. 

I think the (maybe not canon, but reasonable) reason Mito and Kushina weren’t ostracized for being jinchuuriki like Naruto was, is bc the Kyuubi never like actually got loose and tried to trample the village into nothingness, it was kinda abstract like “Mm yeah she has a giant fox sealed in her, pretty wild right?” instead of “That damn fox killed my brother, father, and I had to watch my mother be crushed under a building and its ‘sealed’ in tHAT CHILD T H E R E,,,,,” as it was with Naruto.

Yeah, those are about my feelings regarding it. Before Obito’s attack, the only time anyone had really faced Kurama was Hashirama and Mito in the Valley of the End, and no one else was really around to see it.
