People hate on The Last because of Naruhina, but this was my issue with it. Where was the Gaara we all know and love who dramatically shouts, “I WILL NOT LET YOU DIE! I DEFINITELY WON’T!” when Naruto is in danger?
Anyway, Naruto and Gaara are my brotp, if I’ve never mentioned that.
Sometimes, and he expected as much when we started; it’s not a subject at which he naturally excels. But he is very determined and hard-working when motivated, and I suspect I actually manage to be far less thorough as a teacher than he is as a student.
