tbh I think the funniest thing to me abt villain!izuku is that according to bnha lore you can only be legally qualified to be a villain if you use your quirk to commit multiple crimes

his status as a quirkless person means that it’s literally impossible for him to be labelled a villain no matter how many crimes he commits

mentorswap!deku totally takes advantage of this fact btw

I just realized I never posted my 1A mentorswap stuff so here goes:

  • Uraraka and Tomura were actually online friends before they enrolled in UA. They met playing League of Legends. She sort of just decides to be his unofficial moral compass after meeting him irl
  • Iida just assumes Tomura’s an upperclassman until they end up in the same class, and even after that he still keeps calling him “Midoria-senpai” out of respect
  • during the fitness test Tomura took “the student with the lowest scores gets expelled” as a challenge to single out and sabotage the worst student instead of producing any stellar results
  • that student was mineta
  • mineta is DEFINITELY expelled in this AU
  • he’s replaced with shinsou, who respects tomura because 1) he’s the reason he ended up in 1A and 2) literally NO ONE questions his validity as a hero when tomura’s around

ok so the gist of my mentorswap!bnha AU is that little Izuku gets kidnapped by All for One while they look for good Nomu material. At first All for One was gonna just kill him but he decided the dramatic irony of a quirkless kid killing All Might was too good to pass up, so he grooms him to become the head of the league of villains. Izuku more or less agrees to it but he’s also secretly planning on killing All for One the minute he puts his guard down.

On the flip side Inko ends up finding little Shiguraki while looking for Izuku and decides to adopt him. Shiguraki in turn decides to become a hero to help her find her son, eventually running into all might in the process

oh also mentorswap!bakugou is missing a hand because he said some choice words at midoriya’s funeral that Shiguraki wasn’t too happy with. He probably would have lost an entire limb if an adult hadn’t stepped in.

His parents tried to buy him prosthetic hands, but he kept blowing them up, so he spent most of his childhood with his arm as just a stump (tho that didn’t stop him from picking fights with people). When he enrolls in UA he finally gets a bionic hand that also doubles as a flamethrower
