So you know this scene…

I always found it a bit odd. Hilarious, but it raised too many questions. When did Steve make these? Why did Steve make these? How did he manage to be so cheesy and overly sincere knowing how much crap he would get from the other Avengers for it?

Well, today my sister told me her headcanon. Picture the scene. Steve leans on the back of a chair, as above. Peter immediately launches into ‘So, you got detention…’. Cap blinks. Peter awkwardly tries to explain. It turns out Cap has no idea what videos he means, and neither do any of the other Avengers.

So they get in touch with the company who made them, and they swear blind that it was really the real Captain America, and that it all his idea. That he came in and said how much he wanted to help the youth of today. And the Avengers all lose it because someone is running around doing an unbelievably good impression of Captain America, they could have destroyed his reputation, they could have infiltrated the Avengers; and instead all they are apparently using it for is to make silly, embarrassing videos.

It’s completely baffling. Who could possibly be behind it all?

A mystery.

EDIT: this is getting so many notes ahaha my sister who came up with this is not on Tumblr but you can find her as Radar_girl on Ao3!

Fantastic Four : House of M

I’m drowning in my tear. This is the happiest Doom family I have ever seen. And the happiest Kristoff. He is loved. He has parents. His father really really love him and hug him and thinks him worthy and he is not Vernard then there is the ending…..#tears

I’m not saying they are good ones or saints or whatever… I JUST WANT TO SEE MY KRISTOFF TOTALLY HAPPY AT LEAST IN AU BUT THE ENDING IS….#crying

What did Loki want to show Thor??

Loki on the internet, though.  Loki would create multiple socks just to have sock wars.  Loki would write fic and then use another identity to plagiarize that fic and then use yet another identity to expose the plagiarism just for the fun of watching the shitstorm go down.  Loki, in his various identities, would be the number one source of drama in any group he chose to join.

Oh, and his husband?  A horse.

(If you get that particular reference, we can be Fandom Olds together.)

also I can’t be the only person thinking of THIS:

Thanos is a weak ass bitch of a villain because ever since killmonger I need all my villains to pull up with some style, looks, a certain je ne sais quoi. Killmonger stole a thousand year old artifact and wore it as armor and wore solid gold fangs. What did Thanos wear? The same body armor for hundreds of years and a dumb glove that wasn’t even designer

People are all like “he’s an alien” like so was Hela and she pulled up with some iconic goth looks, Chanel horned helmet, a beautiful smokey eye, nails that could cut diamonds, Thanos has no excuse fashion is universal

I keep thinking how much more powerful the Spiderman origin story would be if Peter Parker was an African American kid, whose Uncle Ben was shot by police while being arrested for a minor parking infraction. There is no formal investigation, and Peter decides to put himself on the line to prevent it happening again. He tackles the white crimes that go unpunished, punishes POC criminals fairly. He is the leveler, always fighting to be without bias, to be just. To protect people like his uncle.

This not only mirrors so much of what’s happening in America, but feeds right into the complex relationship between Spiderman, the authorities and the media.

Peter Parker is a brilliant student, awkward, a nerd, but is branded a thug, a gang member, a criminal, because of his appearance. The media latch on to that and misrepresent him totally.

The police, humilitated by the fact that he refuses to work with them and often punishes cops themselves for brutalizing innocent people, or guilty people who still deserve better treatment than they get, attempt to hunt him down.

I had to.

oh man. This is the shit.

The “with great power comes great responsibility” line gets such a deeper meaning within this context.

Not to mention a white nerdy boy with glasses is not the look of a social outcast or person of ridicule anymore.
