hi my name is sponge and until today I thought I was more or less done with this ship but apparently a once established bond between you and your OTP is for eternity so here I am again.
oh god but like. the best ships are the ones where they’ve been shown to work great as a team. where the characters balance each other out without eclipsing the other person but, instead, bring out the best in each other to get a job done or fix a problem. if i die young bury me in mutually beneficial partnerships
I think this was when Law thought that he could make a future alliance with Luffy. Seeing how much chaos he could do and not give a shit and thinking that could be interesting and useful too him.
