The other day this post was randomly suggested to me by Tumblr, and I couldn’t resist my desire to draw a version with Law and Luffy. It was too precious.

My thought process is that Luffy’s sitting on him cause he’s bored and Law isn’t putting in any effort to have fun. This isn’t intended to be sexual.

I like to believe that being with Luffy during this arc is comforting for Law. Luffy refuses to leave him behind, even as they his grudge with Doflamingo is slowly revealed. I especially like the panel where Luffy has a hand on Law’s shoulder as Dofla tries to verbally tear him down.

Law’s holding back laughter at how silly Luffy looks in his clothes, but he hasn’t yet realized that he looks even more ridiculous.

I used this picture to practice Japanese. I think I’ve almost got “Mugiwara-ya” memorized. I couldn’t come up with an alternative for “pfft” though.
