This is pretty irrelevant to all of the prior asks you got, but it’s maybe slightly relevant? Anyways I just wanted to say I blame you for making it hard for me to enjoy Fem!Tsuna fics now because I finally realized how weird & corny the names people try to give Tsuna are. Hell, even I pulled a Fem!Tsuna named Tsunami fic before giving up on it. Now I just cringe reading names like Tsunahime & Tsurumi. How exactly did you come up with Kou & her character number? Did you study Japanese?

I think they’re…right-minded, but really corny and tone-deaf. The main point is that Tsuna has a meaningful name, has a very Japanese Don’t Rock The Boat attitude, and the fact Kou outright changing her name wouldn’t go unnoticed, I figured the best bet was simply to read her kanji differently – it’s not uncommon to correct people with “actually, it’s read ___”, and some people even ask you how your name is pronounced before trying, so Kou can slide her name right in there. It’s just incredibly silly she tried it with a kanji as unambiguous as 綱 . I’m sure she can get away with saying it’s a kirakira name based on the shogunate. She’s almost not wrong

So that’s a characterization thing. If you want like, actual names Iemitsu would give his cis daughter:

– Chiyohime (Tokugawa Iemitsu’s daughter)

– Tsuruhime (Tokugawa Tsunayoshi’s daughter, also the name of Tokugawa Iemitsu’s adopted daughter)

– Tsuhime (Tokugawa Iemitsu’s adopted daughter)

And so on and so forth.

I think ‘Tsuhime’ is the funniest because Gokudera would call her ‘Tsuhime-hima-sama’

KHR/Assassination Classroom reincarnation AU with Nagisa!Tsuna and Karma!Enma.

Okay, so I always knew that I wanted an AC/KHR cover but… I never really had any decent ideas except for the “Nagisa goes to teach the rejects at Mafia School” or “some of the Class 3E members transfer into Tsuna’s class” ones.

This. This is a good one. Somebody write it? Please?

*puts AU on ‘to-write’ list* I’d write it if only for:

– Shimon: *talking about Enma* he wants to become a bureaucrat *shudder*

– Karma!Enma, cue Deamon Suffering.

– forever wondering how the Varia with their flashiness and loudness are an assassination squad

– Nagisa!Tsuna scaring the shit out of people

– Tsuna: I’m going to be a teacher.
Vongola: No.
Tsuna: try me.

– Reborn: the best assassins make the best teachers

– Nakamura!Kyoko meets Karma!Enma, cue Nagisa!Tsuna in a skirt.

On The Broad and Enma’s height

Hi guys! 

I’ve been mentioning The Broad a lot lately when talking about Enma and Cozart, so I thought I should make a post with an explanation to refer to when people ask! 

So up first: 

Enma’s Height In General

Enma is indeed the same height-ish as Tsuna in the manga, but he constantly hunches- trying to hide himself- which doesn’t help much with trying to guess his height. He’s definitely broader than Tsuna, though. They’re also fourteen, and boys, so they’re going to be growing for a while yet too. 

Most of the foreign characters on KHR are portrayed as tall compared to the Japanese characters. For example: Squalo, Xanxus, Timoteo (if you take into account he’s an old man and has most likely already shrunken. The same counts for most of his guardians), Dino, etc.

(Notable exceptions: TYL Gokudera is one of the smaller guardians, despite being only ¼ Japanese. @aoife-has-fallen pointed out to me that this most likely was due to his time on the streets, where he would have had malnutrition during crucial periods of growth.

Strangely, Yamamoto is the tallest, with Hibari as the second tallest, despite their pure Japanese ancestry)

The ancestry of the Simon is not really clear- That their ancestors (the Simon’s first gen) were Italian is clear. That some of them have Japanese names is also clear, but then you have characters like Adelheid who’s got a Dutch/German name. Don’t ask me how she got that, especially when her last name is the typically Japanese “Suzuki”. Adelheid’s height seems to indicate she’s Italian, as she’s definitely the tallest woman in the series and probably also belongs to the tallest characters overall.

It’s a confusing thing, but in the end I just decided to say: “They’re mostly European” because Enma’s hair is red. This is no good evidence, as we all know manga hair colours, but I had to decide somehow.

On The Broad

This has a lot to do with the above explanation of height, just so you know.

After my whole thought process about Enma’s height and the Simon’s ancestry, @i-w-p-chan came with her alternate characterization Biker!Enma. And I went: Yes. 24-year-old Enma, shoulders like a closet (…Not sure if that’s the right idiom in English *rubs neck sheepishly*) and the leather jackets streching across that broad back.

Long story short, it became a thing were I imagined older Enma with broad shoulders, a broad face, a broad mouth and even broad hands! 

And with Enma resembling his ancestor Cozart so much, Cozart caugth The Broad too. 

On Adult Enma Being Taller Than Hibari

Biker!Enma was incorporated into Fergalicious, a 001827 fic in the works, and @i-w-p-chan and I talked a lot (*cough*squealed*cough*) about the pairing. And she was like: I don’t get why people don’t ship this. Hibari can have TWO small animals!

And I went: Blue.exe has stopped working. Because I had visions of older Biker!Enma who was taller and broader than Hibari and still a little animal and my heart couldn’t contain it.

Ever since, any slightly older version of Tsuna has Tsuna only growing a little (because all his guardians except for Chrome tower over him *cackles*) and Enma slowly becoming a giant. Because he will somehow, even as a grown biker, be the cutest.
