I could draw these two cuddling all day every day. 

basically my headcanon for their relationship is that Karkat gets cold a bit more than John, so John has learned to dress in layers so that when Karkat starts complaining about the conksuck Earth weather John can just take off his sweatshirt and hand it over. 

Karkat has figured this out of course, but he is secretly pretty fond of John’s sweatshirts and how fluffy and comfortable they are, so he keeps on leaving his own coats and scarves at home. 

I don’t know what the paper lantern-type things are there for.  I like things that hang from trees okay, even if they do throw off the composition a little.

So like 80% of the fandom (or at least it seems that way) I sorta ship John/Karkat.  Because Karkat is my favorite (he is so grumpy!) and his hatecrush on John is adorable.  Aaanyway their legs are kind of weird here but w/e.  I ain’t redrawing it, I gotta move on with my life.

Guess I’ll start off by ul’ing all my Homestuck art from dA, or as much of it as I can be bothered to upload.

I really want to do another hipsterstuck piece someday.  Like…a bunch of them just hanging out in somebody’s kitchen, listening to a Deerhoof LP, drinking PBR, with Aradia perched on the counter trying to explain Barthes to Sollux who really does not give a shit, he’s all about the Foucault, while Dave is quietly hoping that his plaid shirt comes across as post-post-ironic.  (I am not actually familiar with hipster culture, can you tell?)

Sometimes he’ll lay on his bed with his troll and compare their skintones.  He presses their forearms together and marvels at the fact that there’s a gray troll in his bedroom, a gray troll he had bedded countless times.  Smiling from ear to ear and completely oblivious to it, he walks his fingers up Karkat’s arm, traces his pectorals and leans in to kiss his gray, gray lips.

Karkat looks up at him, a bit bemused, always a bit bristly.

“What?”

John’s grin breaks new ground over his face and Karkat rolls his eyes at the gates of blunt teeth.

“I’m totally doing an alien.”

Karkat issues a long suffering sigh, his tone dripping sarcasm.

“You too huh?

the newest chapter of my favorite giant robot AU came out recently, and there was really cool new fanart floating around, so i went into a frenzy last night and drew Battlefield Terra fanart for like four hours

most of these are just shitty doodles, but i wanna make something more polished eventually, so keep an eye out for that (maybe? who knows.)

uwaaaaaaaahhh X3 those expressive faces hohoho. and yes, i get a kick out of putting karkat into john’s clothes too. *coughcough*

Oh Jesus, those teeth. Karkat’s were almost round compared to his. On top of the pointy rest he had two longer eyeteeth that looked like vampire fangs, visible even at rest, but when he smiled it was even more obvious how creepily long they were.

So in other news I somehow failed to reblog like FOUR SECTIONS of Battlefield Terra IN A ROW, and that is an egregious oversight. D:>  So I drew some stuff in a notebook, then got a computer and embellished a bit. ❤

Did we ever find out whether the things John thought might be dreadlocks were actually dreadlocks, because I just went with dreadlocks because that’s rad as hell so why not. 🙂

TOPLESS GAMZEE YESPLZ. he’s so w eird this is awesome *____* (it wouldn’t show from the front but from the back they still have vestigial muscle and traces of cartilaginous sockets from when they used to have a third limb haha it makes no sense i don’t even care it’s so fun. on gamzee it would show so nicely *innocent blink*.)

i think gamzee has at least the start of dreads or like, a few dreads but they’re mostly accidental because he doesn’t give a shit what his hair does and doesn’t really wash the sopor off in the evenings or anything much less untangle them, but idk if i’ll ever mention it more than that so y’all are free to imagine it as you want. the dreads idea is growing on me by the second though.

I’m…I dunno, I just flashed on the idea of Karkat putting the dreads in himself….? All meticulously and neatly. Like, after giving up on Gamzee’s tiny proto-dreads-from-being-completely-unable-to-manage-his-own-hair. So, that might be why Gamzee could have such nice ones. Because, it’s a long-lasting hairstyle, and Karkat did them for him…
