I love that John and Dave’s friendship is just the endless cycle of light hearted smack downs that inevitably hit a sore spot which turns into more sincere smack downs while painstakingly trying to hide the butthurt and waking up the next morning with literally no recollection of either of them ever getting their feelings hurt.

John: “Haha turd.”
Dave: “hows it feel to be the del taco king burrito of turds”
John: “How’s it feel to be annoying?”
And then Dave’s emotional state becomes the JohnMulaney”NO! THATS THE THING IM SENSITIVE ABOUT”.gif and he goes into a nonchalant 20 minutes convo about how bad at coding John is.
