(This may be the first Harry Potter I’ve drawn that I’m actually happy with! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ )
I kind of have this headcanon that Harry does not have a very expressive/emotive face at all. Maybe because of how the Dursleys raised him (where showing emotions only gave the Dursleys weapons to use against him) or maybe just because it’s who he is, he’s usually very hard to read (and much better at lying than he thinks he is).
Harry placed the point of the quill on the paper and wrote: I must not tell lies.
He let out a gasp of pain. The words had appeared on the parchment in what appeared to be shining red ink. At the same time, the words appeared on the back of Harry’s right hand, cut into his skin as though traced there by a scalpel — yet even as he stared at the shining cut, the skin healed over again, leaving the place where it had been slightly redder than before but quite smooth.
Harry looked around at Umbridge. She was watching him, her wide, toadlike mouth stretched into a smile.
“Yes?”
“Nothing,” said Harry quietly.

Cho Chang is lovely.

Dolores Umbridge is a WAY better villain than Voldemort. (x10000000)
… . Obviously I did not reread the chapter before I drew this, sigh. All factual inaccuracies should be blamed on my faulty memory.
Also in other news, I’ve been waylaid by a mean bout of the flu the past few days, so please forgive my radio silence. All I want to do is curl up in bed and shiver.
I’m choosing to blame this on katherinemansfields, because I am eminently suggestible and she’s been getting into Draco/Harry things lately. (Also messing around with Harry’s hair is like my favorite thing, yes yes it is.)
