Kei is secretly a little disappointed that none of her students are really into kenjutsu.
Kei’s Aunt Tsubasa (who’s a first cousin once removed, by marriage) is the real wizard at finances in her relationship with Aunt Inari. But they don’t tell people that.
Freaked out for a while, in the case of the first two. Then she would probably become a ninja again and do her best.
The Warring States/Clan Wars era would probably inspire Kei to Never Get Involved and move to another continent.

Kushina would say that all of them are loved for different reasons, but she loves them all the same.
- Kakashi’s the one she helped raise, and she’s known him the longest.
- Kei’s the helpful one, with weird thoughts, and is the main one helping Kushina from day to day.
- Obito and Kushina have very similar personalities, so they get along very well.
Minato occupies the slot called “Parent” or “Older Brother Figure” or “Mentor.” Or rather, all three.
The reason Kei is Kakashi’s “Anchor” is because the term can be used two ways. Both as a point of stability–what with Obito having vanished after Kannabi and Rin not actually being on their team–and as an occasional dead weight that might be considered holding him back.
Such is love.
