ive always thought bakugou was there as a sort of consistent conflict generator more than anything. hes a very static character to the point of being a plot device, an obstacle for izuku to overcome. when horikoshi pushes him into the spotlight the fact that hes not well thought out as a friend or rival or villain or anything really shows

its true. anything he does (create conflict) can be done better by iida / etc
