if the big issue with naruto is that it portrays morally gray scenarios as black and white then the big issue with bnha is that it portrays fundamentally black and white issues as morally gray ones
ok so the gist of my mentorswap!bnha AU is that little Izuku gets kidnapped by All for One while they look for good Nomu material. At first All for One was gonna just kill him but he decided the dramatic irony of a quirkless kid killing All Might was too good to pass up, so he grooms him to become the head of the league of villains. Izuku more or less agrees to it but he’s also secretly planning on killing All for One the minute he puts his guard down.
On the flip side Inko ends up finding little Shiguraki while looking for Izuku and decides to adopt him. Shiguraki in turn decides to become a hero to help her find her son, eventually running into all might in the process
i mean he probably accidentally activated his quirk on his dad or something and thats more or less canon but his face is already fucked up (like the scar around his mouth) so?? kid. kid. kid..
the roleswap w/ “shigaraki eri” and “tenko” makes me feel kind of bad for aizawa bc i imagine shigaraki!eri has some pretty fine control over her quirk and every time the noumu gets close to literally killing him she uh
inktober week two! I feel pretty solid about this week’s pics :0 im trying not to repeat characters but I wanted matching eri and tenko….. [shops/comms/zines/etc]
as much as im happy to see this changed perspective of why she wants to be a heroine in the first place, i wish she had her own spotlight arc to have developed this, rather than coming to these terms in the background.
