i’m so bad with words and i’m hoping someone who’s better will ‘hijack’ my post but i only just recently realized why mic was hoping uraraka would win the sports festival
i always wondered why uraraka specifically. it’s not like he picked a side for every single match. and i realized…
he probably has a soft spot for her ever since this adorable moment
Melissa Shield a
quirkless girl, who gets to meet Deku. While, David Shield, her father, is said to be a recognized scientist, who used to work with All Might when he was younger, being the one behind the creation of All Might’s hero costume.
Alright, so after the bar gets raided, the LoV gets a new home base. We see them in a somewhat-furnished warehouse when they meet Overhaul, but it’s explicitly stated that location is a satellite base, because who in their right mind would lead somebody like Overhaul to meet for the first time at their main hideout.
(…Twice!!)
So that leads to the interesting question of ‘Where the heck they usually come together?’
I’d like to connect that with my other bewildering question, “Where does Shigaraki actually live?”
Because lots of people seem to think he (and perhaps other LoV members) has a room next to or above the bar. As much as I think that would be cool and also convenient, I unfortunately can’t quite believe that’s true. Or…maybe that’s fortunate, since the bar’s gone now, and losing your actual home along with it would suck even more.
The tankobon that includes the Kamino Ward battle seems to have actually added imagery where once there were blank panels.
(Which I frickin LOVE, because LOOK AT HIS ROOM; IT’S A LITERAL TRASH HEAP, THIS IS MY FAVORITE THING!!! And look at how upset Tomura is about it all. –No wonder, I mean first he screwed up and would have totally lost the entire plot to being captured and taken to prison if not for Sensei’s salvation again, but also this got his sensei captured himself, and he lost Bakugou, so he’s just coming out of this with all severe losses. AND THEN ALL HIS FRIENDS HAVE A SURPRISE VISIT TO HIS NASTY ROOM. Worst. Day. Ever.)
Ahem! But see, if they are all hanging out in Tomura’s room directly after the bar got raided, there’s no WAY that living space is in any way connected to any part of that bar’s building. Swarming with feds much?
Plus, in one of the villain-dedicated Smash! chapters, Tomura had an idea he wanted to pursue at 3AM,so he called Kurogiri about it, who mentioned he would have to open up the bar in order to accomplish this. Do you really have to open it up if you’re already inside/connected to it?
Now this is a leap, but I wonder if Tomura’s personal living space is located in the same place All for One is/was typically located. Which looks like this, let me remind you.
That’s such a huge-ass tower, it takes TWO screenshots to fully cover. Holy goodness.
Sooo… Since the League has already seen the place (assume Tomura’s room is inside it)… What if that’s where they set up main headquarters now? …Which is just…wild. Luxury villainy right there and Tomura’s room is still literal junk.
a series of bnha arcs that are just top heroes getting booted from the position of number one hero for different reasons, the league of villains singing a karmically appropriate oompa loompa song explaining what they did wrong each time
for the record, there’s no way there isn’t intentional parallels between eri and shigaraki. what those parallels will ultimately mean in the full context of the story is unclear but…
destructive quirk? groomed child? same exact fuckin colour scheme?
