Izuku and Shinsou’s relationship, and eventual partnership

plusultra-fox:

So
I answered an ask (this one) about how Shinsou would deserve to learn Izuku was quirkless and be told the
secret behind One for All, and couldn’t help but wanted to write a
proper post on his and Izuku’s relationship, as I came up with
other thoughts shortly after. I really believe Shinsou and Izuku would become good friends, and could even be close to each other if they came to
share their past and painful experiences of being quirkless/having a
quirk labelled as evil and being mocked for that.

To
begin with, I find interesting to notice the good chemistry going on
between Izuku and Shinsou. Shinsou had no problem to understand
Izuku, and Izuku was moved by Shinsou’s words. Izuku was warned by
Ojiro about Shinsou’s quirk. He was aware he had to be careful to not
fall for any trap, but Shinsou succeed anyway because he knew exactly
what to say to set up Izuku.

image
image

He could set up others students before
without relying on strategy and guessing their personality because
they weren’t aware of his quirk. But after that he had to think about
how to force Izuku to talk because he knew how his quirk worked. So
he had to read through Izuku and come up with something that would
make him commit a mistake quickly, before he could throw him out of the
ring. Shinsou didn’t know Izuku personally, never talked to him
before, but surprisingly, he knew exactly what to say because he guessed
well what would throw Izuku off. I don’t think this could’ve worked
with others students, like Todoroki, Tsukuyami or Bakugou. Shinsou
probably guessed Izuku was a loyal and honest friend, and could feel he was
compassionate. He tried in a last resort to make him talk by
provoking him on how blessed he was and how little Izuku must have known about being cast aside and seeing his dream denied because he
couldn’t fit. And he was right, as Izuku was fighting back against
his instinct to don’t answer Shinsou.

image
image

It wasn’t a matter or making
him fall in his trap anymore, as Shinsou was really pouring his heart
out in front of Izuku, and, once again, I don’t think he would’ve
done the same in front of someone else. I truly believe he could do
so in front of Izuku because he felt listened enough to voice his
feelings to him. Their relationship kinda feel like these ones
when you meet someone for the first time but it’s like you knew them since forever. Had
it not been during a fight, Izuku would have probably let some
information slip or at least suggest he was the same, because he
can’t watch people being hurt and do nothing about it. It was
physically hard for him to not talk back to Shinsou. Izuku felt
Shinsou’s distress, and was really holding back because he really wanted to help him and find a way to heal him mentally
and emotionally speaking. At the end, he eventually took a step
forward and talked to him, without even contemplating Shinsou could
use his quirk again.

image

Shinsou looked mischievous when he told Izuku he
should be more careful when he’s talking to him, like he’s surprised but pleased with how
Izuku lowered his guard just after their fight despite falling for his trap once. To be honest, I find
that very cute. It’s noticeable that Shinsou’s already kinda fond of Izuku.

image

Shinsou
has experienced painful words and wrong assumptions, exactly like
Izuku (though on a different level) because of similar reasons ;
because they didn’t fit in.

image
image

They didn’t because one had an ‘evil
quirk’, and the other was quirkless and ‘weak’. It would be moving to
see Shinsou and Izuku share their experiences and support each other
whenever they would admit it was really hard and painful. They both
have friends who support them now, but finding someone you can relate
to and share your experience with when you’ve been hurt by how
others treated you unfairly is life-changing. It makes you feel
you’re not the only one, you’re not facing those hardships alone
and someone can actually really understand and identify with what you’ve
been through. It’s incredibly healing and comforting, and I do hope
Izuku and Shinsou will eventually come to talk about it.

Shinsou
is someone who’s very reliable and trustworthy; he has this
incredible quirk that could give him access to absolutely everything,
but he decided to use it fairly to be a hero. He didn’t take the
easy way, because not only his quirk isn’t adapted to what UA hero
course expects, but also because he’ll face a lot of prejudices
because of his ‘evil quirk’, and will constantly be told by
people he can’t be trust. This kind of assumption, especially when you’re
still a kid growing up and building your identity, is incredibly
painful and breaks more people than you’d think. So Izuku and Shinsou couldn’t do anything but accept painful words and wrong assumptions, waiting for the day they could prove to everyone else how wrong they were to treat them this way. They’re both moving forward, but their past are an important part of who they are. Izuku especially can’t talk about his past for obvious reasons, but he and Shinsou would probably be unwilling to talk about their past, at least not genuinely, with most people because what could they give them apart from sympathy? People fitting in because they have good quirks didn’t have to live what they’ve been through, so maybe they’ll be compassionate, but they won’t understand. Izuku and Shinsou won’t see that light of understanding in anyone else’s eyes, like they could with each other because they can relate with what they’ve really been through, and how painful it was because they know. For now only Izuku can feel that way towards Shinsou, and he’s already concerned about him after their fight, where he felt sorry he couldn’t do a thing, and privileged his victory over Shinsou’s feeling of achievement.

image

Shinsou, like Izuku,
is incredibly brave, because even though people doubted him, even
though he failed to enter the hero course, still tried and pushed his way
through, enough to be the only student of the general course to
attain the last stage. Because he can’t help what he long to be and
after all, can’t give up on being a hero. That’s truly admirable, and
Izuku did the same when he didn’t give up even though his entire
class in middle school mocked hip for taking UA entrance exam. They both didn’t gave anything up and still tried because there was no way for them to just turn their back to their convictions. For
them to stay true to who they are and stick to their convictions
without going astray mean they share high morals and a strong sense
of justice where power isn’t to be used so you can take advantages
of others. In that sense, they’re very similar, and I believe they
could be friends and for that reason, be very dear to each other. It
wouldn’t be unexpected at all for them to become close. It would
also be very interesting in regards to the plot and character
development, and also endearing for all the reasons I wrote above.
From the little interactions we’ve seen of them later, when they
cross path and Shinsou’s with Aizawa, it’s hinted that Shinsou
will take part of Izuku’s life later. I sure hope Hori will explore
their relationship because Shinsou and Izuku are unique to each other in UA and would really benefit for being close friends.
In a interview, Hori confirmed Shinsou will later take an important
part in the story.

image

Given how Izuku was the only one of the hero course he bonded with, it would totally make sense for them to work together and gradually become closer.
I’m looking forward to that, because I really feel a special
chemistry between those two, for the way Shinsou is amused and comforted by Izuku’s
honesty and how Izuku relate to Shinsou and already care about him.

If there was ever a character I think deserves to know about the whole “Izuku was quirkless before all for one” I think it would be Shinsou. I don’t know where the manga is going with this line of thought but If shinsou gets his life changing field trip with Izuku, I really like them to go more in depth about their experiences as child both as someone with a “weak/”evil” quirk and one without one. Because I think it be fun to explore and satisfying

plusultra-fox:

I
think so too. During their fight, Izuku was really moved by Shinsou’s
words and you could tell he was dying to talk to him.

image

Had it not been
during a fight, Izuku would have probably let it slip or at least
suggest he was the same, kinda like with Bakugou, because he can’t
watch people being hurt and do nothing about it. Bakugou thought
Izuku lied to him his whole life and fooled him because he ‘looked
down on him’; Izuku at first didn’t really saw it because he had no
reason to think Bakugou would think of him in that way, but could
feel Bakugou’s apprehension and decided to talk to him. In the same way,
he talked to Todoroki and let information slip because Izuku’s too
honest and can’t lie straight in the face of someone pouring his
heart out in front of him. Izuku felt Shinsou’s distress, and was
really holding back because he really wanted to help Shinsou, that’s
in his nature, that was his ‘urge to save’. He wanted to help him and
find a way to heal him mentally and emotionally speaking, and actually took time to take a step forward to talk to him.

image

Shinsou now has friends who support him, but
finding someone you can relate to and share your experience with when

Concerning bnha, and thoughts/headcannons/theories on midoriya’s dad. I’ve looked through tags and people just don’t have much to say, I like to think the revile of his dad will mark the transition from training to be a hero to being a hero

tahwraven:

Part of the reason no one says anything is that there’s so little known about him that we can really only speculate.

  1. He took a work post abroad.
  2. His quirk allows him to breath fire.
  3. His name is Hisashi, which is a reference to hisashiburi, a way to say that it’s been a long time [since I’ve seen you].

That’s… literally three things. The second will possibly play some part in the story later on, but doesn’t give us any factual information except about his quirk. I’ve considered the part where Inko says, “my husband’s quirk is fire breath,” a lot, mostly because of the way she says it. All those stories people write about Toshinori being Izuku’s actual father, or something along those lines, make sense when you look at her body language and way she says it. “My husband” instead of “Izuku’s father,” for example, and she puts her hand up to her face and turns her body in a way that could be attributed to #1, that he’s been gone awhile and their relationship has become distant, but could also be interpreted as a sign of shame or reluctance – as might be the case if her husband is not actually her child’s father. There’s also the possibility that Izuku is Hisashi’s son, but that Hisashi might come to doubt that because his quirk is nothing like either of his parents.

I highly doubt that’s the way the story is legit gonna go, but hope springs eternal, right? Certainly not going to stop my headcanons.

He wasn’t ever shown in scenes set in the past, and Izuku doesn’t really seem at all bothered by his father’s absence, so between #1 & #3, it can be inferred that he’s been gone long enough that Izuku doesn’t even remember him.

Tbh, I really don’t think there’s going to be much about him even when he does show up, not unless it really does have some impact on Izuku’s journey to becoming a hero. Horikoshi has added little side facts and stories to expand on the characters and for the sake of world building, but he doesn’t do that much. Most of what we see is, as stated at the beginning of the series, how Izuku “became a great hero.”

Without knowing more about him and, perhaps more importantly, what his work actually is, it’s a little hard to foreshadow how his return is going to impact Izuku and the story. If he’s secretly a villain, we can all figure that yes, actually, he’s probably going to play a significant part. Likewise, if he has anything to do with law enforcement or being on the side of the ‘good guys,’ he’ll at least be noteworthy. I’m hoping there won’t be any resentment on Izuku’s part for him being
gone for so long. He’d be perfectly justified if he did, but it seems a
little tropey to me.

Since we don’t actually know anything about him, it’s easy to come up with headcanons that make him a bad guy, especially considering what little we do have. I’m perfectly fine with that, atm. Dad Might is still the best thing in the universe, and he’ll win every time.

Ok, so u did top 5favs, now do 5 charactrs u dont like 😈

Oh boy. Oooooh boy. I really don’t want to answer this. I’m gonna be hated so much.

Also, why a devil emoji? Is that you, Jelly? Do you realize what you’re doing, asking me this? Are you doing this on purpose? Are you tormenting me, Jelly? I know it’s you! Get a f-ing tumblr already so I can talk to you here dammit!

It’s a little hard to come up with characters I genuinely hate or even just plain don’t like but imma do my best, ok? Also, pls don’t hate me. I know a lot of you will, but it’s just an opinion YOU DON’T HAVE TO AGREE OKAY

Endeavor / Todoroki Enji

I think this one is obvious, and I doubt I need to go into this in detail so I’m just going to list off a summary. He’s a grown man with the power of one who throws tantrums like a toddler complete with disregard of others’ safety, most especially with his own children. It’s hard to think that he’s able to get away with the way he acts and somehow ends up as no. 2 hero. He doesn’t really seem to care about being a hero at all and despite that he wants to be no. 1 in everyone’s eyes, he doesn’t actually do much to get there?? He doesn’t care about his fans and if anyone badmouths him he just kinda regards them as trash and it doesn’t matter. That he’s somehow gotten to number two hero makes me despair over the state of bnha society, but not talking about that. Contradictory in all the worst ways, and as a character, he’s… kinda boring? What he wants is obvious and plain and his ways of getting what he wants are just as much so.

Mineta Minoru

A lot of you will say, “well, that’s a given.” But I didn’t go into this fandom intending to hate him. I had no clue why everyone seemed to hate him even when I first saw him. I thought, wow what a tasteless costume. Why would anyone even… But I didn’t have any reason to dislike him. I was a little bothered by it, bc wow disgusting and I’d joke about hating him, but I was mostly indifferent to him until the sports festival arc.

He hung onto Momo in a really inappropriate way. On one hand, they were in a competition where he’s expected to do whatever he has to. On the other hand, they’re on national television and I would at least expect a school to want their students to give a better showing, something more befitting heroes considering, ya know, these kids are the next gen of them.

I remember coming across someone saying that if it were real life, Mineta would have been expelled by now. I don’t agree. If it were real life, at least I hope, teachers would have stepped in and done something about it by now, so it shouldn’t have gotten this bad. His attitude isn’t suitable for a hero who kids are going to look up to, even if he doesn’t end up at the top.

I don’t think he’s totally hopeless. If he were to respect women, and other people in general, I think he could do a lot better and become a really good hero. My biggest problem with him is that he seems to only be there as comic relief. He’s made a joke out of constantly and the only time he’s really gotten any kudos was during the final exams, but I still don’t really like him that much. I wish Horikoshi would do more with him, but as it is, I feel grossed out whenever he comes into the picture.

Slime Villain

Though a minor character, what he actually does is just so creepy and violating. I know I’m not the only one to think so, but it really bothered me. I especially didn’t like the part where All Might was just going to leave Izuku after he’d been attacked?? Like, I know his time limit was over but he could have at least told him to go to the hospital to make sure he was okay. He could have told him to stay put and sent someone to check up on him, right? (But I’m not getting into the problems with hero society rn remember?) The slime villain was the ‘beginning’ of everything but it’s not him being a villain that’s so troublesome; it’s what he does as a villain.

Bakugou Katsuki

This is the one I’m afraid to put down. I know there are so many people who really like him. I don’t absolutely hate him, and I certainly like him better than Mineta, but he’s gotta go on this list. I think a big reason so many people like him is that of all the characters who do some appalling things, he’s one that Horikoshi shows so much potential to be better.

But, to me, he kinda comes across as a whiny brat. He’s been told all his life that he’s the best among his peers, and when someone is told something over and over again it’s easy to believe it. It’s like he has a simultaneous inferiority complex and superiority complex at the same time. Some people point out that the way he acts is actually similar to a villain, and it is, but no one in-story has ever actually given him a reason to think so. It’s a society that rewards violence so someone with a powerful and violent quirk is obviously bound for heroism. But not going there. On top of that, he’s really good at a lot of what he does anyway, from grades to the meaningless games that little kids play, so that just boosts his ego.

His reasons for hurting others and for wanting to be a hero are just so superficial, and it galls me that such an intelligent character hasn’t seemed to actually consider this. He also gets angry whenever anyone does anything he considers as ‘challenging’ his place at the top but he also gets angry that he’s surrounded by people he considers ‘weak’.

He has a lot of room to grow, but it irritates me so much that he lets his pride get in the way of that.

Monoma Neito

I have a love/hate for this kid. His sarcasm, intelligence, mean spirit and contrariness are things that I often love in characters, but his inferiority complex makes it harder to like him. I find it kinda funny the way he puts himself down if it means he can put class 1-A down too, but it’s also off-putting. I think most of the reason I dislike him is that most of what we see from him is him being disagreeable. I’d love to see more of him, and the rest of class 1-B, especially if we got to see him getting along with someone.

Top 5 favs post

oKAY but what if afo had all might followed pre-series and izuku was kidnapped right before all might showed up to the beavh on the day izuku gets ofa? and the last thing he hears is a scream for help, and all that is left of izuku are his shirt, shoes, and backpack, still left on the staircase

tahwraven:

Okay Anon, let’s Do This.

  • All for One has people
investigate All Might after he’s recovered (as much as he can) from
their fight. He finds out All Might’s identity and has his people keep
    track of Yagi Toshinori.
  • He doesn’t do anything about the
information he gathers from this just yet. He likes to torment his
brother’s successors, so he plans to wait for the chance to inflict
    maximum agony.
  • The morning of the U.A. entrance exam, Toshinori
reaches the beach planning to give Izuku One for All. He arrives just in
time to hear Izuku scream. All that’s left of Izuku is his shirt,
    shoes, and backpack.
  • All for One has been wanting to experiment
with the Plus Alpha aspect, to find out why some people have quirks and
some don’t, but with the fall in population of quirkless people, it’s
hard to find anyone to experiment on that won’t draw attention. How
timely then, that he wants Izuku’s disappearance to be noticed.
  • This
isn’t why he kidnapped Izuku – he did that because he wants Toshinori
to suffer and would have done it even if Izuku wasn’t quirkless – but it
    sure is a convenient opportunity.
  • He also doesn’t just do
experiments. Izuku has not been officially made the ninth wielder of One
for All, but he was chosen as next in line, so he still counts. All for
    One wants him to suffer.
  • The experiments have an
interesting result. He awakens Izuku’s dormant quirk, the ability to
    manipulate the temperature of things.
  • Izuku has difficulty
controlling it, having never used a quirk before, and any control he has
is shot to all hell when the experiments continue.
  • Shigaraki
doesn’t think anything of the kid Kurogiri brings in. Usually, it’s
adults, but it isn’t always, and this happens all the time.
  • But
Izuku is terrified he’s going insane, driven by being experimented on by
the good doctor and otherwise having little human contact. Isolation
leads to him talking to the one person around who hasn’t shown him much
    attention.
  • They talk philosophy. It’s weird.
  • Shigaraki
doesn’t outright state why he hates All Might, but what he does say is
telling enough. Izuku lets him know that heroes are great but “they’re
still human. They can’t save everyone.”
  • “You know that means it’s likely they won’t save you?
  • Izuku
shrugs. He’s considered that. He lost the expectation that someone
would come save him a long time ago. (No one cares about a quirkless
    person anyway.)
  • “Carrying around corpse hands isn’t a thing people do.”
  • “The chemicals used to keep those from decomposing is unhealthy to breath in. I can smell it from here.”
  • “You should use some chapstick.”
  • During
this time, Izuku sees several other people brought in and experimented
on. Most of them die. One, he sees turn into a noumu.
  • Shigaraki
mentions Tsubasa as the last kid to be brought in. He didn’t know that
Izuku knew Tsubasa, and doesn’t understand why Izuku cares about some
kid he hasn’t even seen in years.
  • When Izuku gets the full story
out of Shigaraki, he wonders with disgust why All for One kept his
father’s hand before Shigaraki decided to carry it around with him.
  • Izuku trying to teach Shigaraki how to human.
  • In
the meantime, Toshinori is trying to find out who took Izuku, but there
aren’t any leads. He and Naomasa often visit the Midoriya household to
check up on Inko. Toshinori doesn’t tell her who he is, but he explains
that he’d been helping Izuku train and was the one to witness Izuku
    being kidnapped.
  • Aizawa is disdainful and longsuffering when
it comes to this man who strives for the spotlight but simultaneously
tries to hide. Then he sees Toshinori looking tired and depressed all
the time, not as boisterous as he usually is. It only seems to get worse
    as the weeks pass by.
  • Toshinori is trying his best to teach but it’s hard when everything he does feels lackluster. The other teachers worry.
  • Since
he’s so focused on finding Izuku, he’s less so on hero work, so he
doesn’t overwork himself on the day class 1-A heads to U.S.J. He’s at
    the facility from the beginning.
  • It goes mostly the same, but
Shigaraki is somewhat unsure of himself. All Might is just like what
Izuku told him he was: stronger in personality than in body, intent on
helping everyone he can, and blames himself for any perceived failure.
This isn’t the musclehead hero he’d grown to hate.
  • Shigaraki’s
growing sympathy for Izuku leads him to send a lackey on a mission – the
lackey leads the police and heroes right to the warehouse in Kamino
    where Izuku is being held.
  • Eraserhead is part of the party that
raids the place. He and Gang Orca are the first to find Izuku. He’s
naturally traumatized and doesn’t say anything. They don’t know who he
is until Naomasa sees him and recognizes him from the pictures Toshinori
    showed him.
  • Aizawa and Sakamata witness Toshinori’s reunion with Izuku, and Aizawa realizes why All Might has been so despondent lately.
  • Toshinori finds out All for One is alive.
  • Nedzu meets Izuku and plans to give him a chance to get into U.A., but right now he needs to recover.
  • Izuku is not okay.
  • He
feels jittery and panics easily when he remains at home with nothing to
do. He is unable to relax without Toshinori or, to a lesser extent,
Aizawa or Sakamata nearby, so he often ends up following them around. He
assists Sakamata in general office work but usually accompanies Aizawa
    or Toshinori to school.

BONUS:

  • Bakugou had,
when Izuku first went missing, claimed he’d just chickened out of the
exam and that he’d turn up when he felt like he could show his face
again. A week later, Izuku is still missing and Inko is at his house
while Mitsuki and Masaru try to keep her calm.
  • He thought he
felt powerless when he was attacked by that slime villain but this – no
one even knows what really happened and there’s nothing he can do.
  • He
avoids the house when Inko is over, caught between that helplessness
and the shame of having bullied her son, so he doesn’t hear about it
    when Izuku is found.
  • He is therefore very shocked to see Izuku follow Aizawa through the door into class one day.

With many thanks to @thenightisdarkandfullofbooty for headcanoning with me.

Aaaaaand after maybe years I finally made him! 🎉🎉

@overexciteddragon I’m so sorry for the long time, lot of things happended, I’ve been in a really busy period, but I really hope now I can post more! 💪🏻

Anyway it hasn’t been easy drawing him, at all, I have discovered the Bakugou-side inside me and throwing free swears to this poor Izuku, because of his hair, not him in particular. I’ve gone to hell and back to draw these versions, it has been really REALLY HARD.
Not only for his hair, but for his design too: my style is so much different from Horikoshi’s one, at the beginning I was afraid he wouldn’t have being recognizable and I still think that. He’s got big eyes, less freckles, short hair, but with the colours and the expressions I think he has become more recognizable.

Hope you like him!

Cheers! 🥂

Ok. So I am not a fan of Kacchan being anywhere near Izuku. And I’m pretty sure Izuku feels the same? Anyways if this anon REALLY wants something like this to happen why not have Izuku use his psychic abilities to carry Kacchan (the only one aloud to ride Izuku is Shouto) kinda like how you carry people in Saints Row 4 re-elected.

Anyway

What i really wanted to add was the description of izuku’s quirk and the appearance of his Dragon form in greater detail. (Not sure why I do this..)

  • First lets start with how the quirk actually works its weaknesses and perks.
  • In a sense he got the psychic abilities from mama Midoriya.
  • The dragon form is actually a recessive gene in the genetic code his fathers family has carried since quirks were first discovered however, until Izuku became a dragon, no one knew about this.
  • He, unlike his mother, he can pick up large and or heavy objects. As a 14 year old his limit is a minivan full of people.
  • He cannot fly and does not have wings. We say “dragon” but this form is actually a Drake.
  • This Dragon species is flightless but extremely powerful and fast. Plus having scales that not even a bullet can pierce is pretty sweet.
  • He can maintain his Drake form for roughly two and a half hours. And his psychic powers can be used in human form but it’s much weaker.
  • I cannot stress this enough. HE. CAN. NOT. BREATH. FIRE. Being an already powerful beast WITH psychic abilities is overpowered enough.
  • His scales are a deep Emerald with a mint green shein.
  • His eyes become more of a yellowish green in Drake form but remain the same color as a human unless mad. (Think of what Danny Phantom does to try and intimidate Vlad)
  • Has a catch phrase similar to “Dragon Up!!” (American Dragon Jake Long)
  • Although seemingly invincible, in Drake form he cannot swim.
  • Just because he’s a Drake it does not mean this automatically enhances his human abilities. He still needs to train to be strong and all that.

Alright. I’ll stop myself here. If anyone wants to add anything please go ahead. I just wanted to put my input and clear some things that I’ve had thought of.

*sweats* h-hi..

um.. im actually the person who submitted this dragon AU to @hitamory (sorry for tagging you!)

The reason i sent it in anonymously is because I didn’t want to share my main account and i can’t change it to this one when im sending in asks.

I just sent this AU in for fun but I’ve been dwelling on it a lot recently, and I’m honestly shook that so many people thought it was cool? Thank you??

Anyway, the original ask was “Au where izuku’s quirk is becoming a fucking dragon with psychic powers and fire breath. k bye i’ll let myself out now” (not gonna lie, it was pretty late at night) and I just wanted to clarify some things

I actually really like the ideas that @shiewolf just posted above! They’re really cool! But the idea from this AU came from a fic (I forgot the name ;-;) in which Izuku’s father (Hisashi Midoriya) was able to breath fire because he had a dragon head. I thought this was super cool and I thought “what if its because Izuku’s grandparents were a human and a ‘dragon’!” and so the AU was created where Izuku’s quirk was that he can become a dragon (for a limited amount of time) and can use his mothers quirk.

I just wanted to clarify that the dragon quirk and the fire breathing quirk are one and the same, and the psychic abilities are an add on from his mother’s quirk. The fire breathing is very limited since most of the energy is going into maintaining dragon form (he can breath fire non-stop for about 5 minutes, tops), and the psychic abilities are exactly the same as his mothers (pulling small objects towards himself). He cannot fly, and he is only slightly bigger in dragon form than in human form, so the first ask about Katsuki riding on his back wouldn’t work (not to mention he probably wouldn’t want anyone, especially Katsuki, on his back). As Shiewolf said, he doesn’t have wings, and is a type of drake!

Anyway I hope this sorta clears things up? If anyone has anyone has any questions I guess you can send me an ask? Sorry about all the confusion and I hope this helps!

Nah @theserpentinthesky It’s fine. I honestly just wanted my thoughts out there, if you say some things i thought are wrong i completely respect that and actually welcome the corrections. One of the main reasons I took away the fire breathing is because I wanted to put more into the psychic abilities without him being overpowered. I am glad you clarified some things though! If @hitamory wishes to add anything please do. This is technically y’alls idea. I’m just the middle man.

Thank you so much for understanding! I actually really liked a lot of your ideas! I tried to make it so that Izuku wasn’t super OP, and I understand how you were trying to prevent that!

HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS REALLY THOUGHT THIS OUT A LOT

(THIS IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD STOP GIVING ME MORE FANFIC IDEAS I HAVE TOO MANYYYYY)

Whats that? More stupid AUs? yep. AU in which Izuku.. 1) has a brother who lives in Hokkaido w/ his dad 2) literally glows in the dark 3) has a quirk that summons cats and dogs whenever he feels down 4) can spit(?) lava haha ok thats all I have for now before they get really weird k bye. ~ sock

hitamory:

OK THESE ARE ALL FUCKIGN FANTASTIC BUT LAVA-SPITTING IZUKU IS AN AU I CAN FUCKING GET BEHIND

image

Consider:

-his eyes turn gold and glow when he uses his quirk bc of the intense heat

-he eats ungodly spicy food that not even bakugo can stand and keeps saying ‘it’s not that bad’ bc his mouth can withstand ridiculous heat

-always fuckin hungry bc the lava in his system works faster than normal digestion

-most of his skin is highly resistant to heat, save for his limbs, so he can still burn himself

wOW I JUST TOOK THIS IDEA AND FUCKIN R A N WITH IT I AM

SORRY
