you shriek that we kill the car industry

collapse twice in just our lifetimes
long before we knew what a mortgage was

I cannot work my way through college,

weeping over bills I cannot pay
you have never known student loans,
but it seems I will be paying them still
when I am your age.

you are outnumbered now,

your recklessness in having children

has only led to more of us.

and now expect us to somehow flourish in
well
while we count change for the buses
and squeeze with friends into apartments

  • the scene where enma, beaten and bloody says “i’m always thinking about running away, too.” 

  • how bad the bullying actually was towards tsuna and enma, not the watered down, light hearted shit they tried to make it into

  • bel not just being “that psycho character”
  • mukuro not being “that creepy pervert”

  • bel and mammon’s relationship

  • bel’s harassment not just as comic relief but as the real truth of him being bitter that mammon isn’t there 
  • the suicide attempt scene from the manga instead of that bullshit we got in the anime

  • (hopefully) better handling of yamamoto’s personality and depression

  • yamamoto not just being the comic relief character, or the “stupid” one
  • lambo not just being the stupid comic relief kid whos bratty and spoiled
  • fuckin hayato gokudera not being the “violent tsundere”
  • how the treatment from lambo’s family made him as fearful and ready to hysterics as he is 
  • nana not just being the ditzy housewife and being given more screentime
  • nana being just a bad, or worse than the bullies even if its not intentional because she doesn’t hide the fact she thinks her son is as much of a no good loser his classmates do
  • not just turning tsuna’s clumsiness, inablity to get good grades and/or naivity into satire 
  • tsuna’s insecurity 
  • (hopefully) better portrayal of lussuria and his fear of xanxus, who incidentally, tried to kill him though he was a loyal subordinate 
  • fran not actually viewing himself as a part of the varia, because of how he’s treated, not because he’s selfish and anti-social 
  • how the treatment from lambo’s family made him as fearful and ready to hysterics as he is 
  • (hopefully) showing just how painfully cruel mukuro is, but still making him into a multidimensional character that can be kind as well (towards ken, chikusa and chrome, though he denies it as making them into pawns) 
  • vindice’s abuse towards mukuro and the ptsd he has from it
  • showing that even the kindest,  well intentioned characters can be the most inhuman 
  • just having a better mixture of humor and harshness without demeaning and/or taking away the growth character’s have and develop 

How about a Sky High version of KRH? Tsuna is the son of one of the best superheroes ever, but he gets designated as sidekick for whatever reason

Tsuna’s father is a hero known as the Young Lion and everyone expects Tsuna to be just as powerful as his dad, which is why they’re so disappointed when he turns out to be a weak little sidekick because he can’t control his powers, and can’t even use them without taking 2 dying will pills first.

As time goes on though, for some reason he keeps attracting all these powerful people and he even manages to become the sworn rival of Kozato Enma.

Then at one point, one of his teachers (Reborn) notices that there’s actually a seal on Tsuna’s powers. And oops, wouldn’t you know it, Iemitsu remembers just then that he had asked his boss years ago to put a seal on his young son’s powers because he was too powerful and Iemitsu didn’t want Tsuna accidentally hurting himself.

And then when the seal is taken off it turns out that Tsuna is actually more powerful than most of his teachers even.
