I just want one of those soulmate AUs but with an aromantic character who knows they won’t get the tattoo with their soulmate’s name or the countdown watch or whatever it is people in that world get when they become adults. But when they do hit adulthood, it does happen, and they’re confused and not sure how this is possible. And then they find their soulmate and have a beautiful platonic relationship against all expectations.
