Omg it’s so nice to see that someone shares my hatred for Bakugo!! Like he is the worst character and the fact that people want him and Deku together is horrible! This is gonna be long but like I have this friend who LOVES bakugo because apparently he is “troubled” but kind and NO he is not he is straight up mean and I just don’t like him at all, obviously I can’t say that to her because then I’m the mean one and uggggghb!! Before I started reading BNHA, I thought I was gonna like Bakugo for sure cuz everyone just ~loves~ him. But now that I actually know what a piece of shit he is – yeah, he is definitely not just “troubled”, he is a spoiled, self-entitled, arrogant jerk – I am just baffled and disgusted by how much the fandom – and Horikoshi-sensei himself, too, I guess – just glorifies this bully.
And don’t get me started on that ship… why so many people want to romanticize an abusive relationship is beyond me. Really, you gotta not give a crap about Midoriya if you want him to be together with his #1 hater, blegh. Anyone who actually cares about Izuku would want him to be with someone who he does not have a decade-long history of physical and mental abuse with. Which means pretty much anyone but Bakugo. >.<
