Tony used and manipulated Peter and after he served his purpose in Leipzig basically ghosted him and stopped giving a shit about him. Peter definitely knew at the end of Homecoming that Tony was full of shit and that’s why he didn’t join the Avengers. Tony only noticed him again when he saved his shit.
