in all the drarry fics, when harry tells hermione and ron, they’re always such dicks about it, and he’s always submissive to it and trying to convince them to give malfoy a chance pretty please.
this is harry, guys. harry the Boy of Salt. i don’t think it would be the least bit out of character for him to be like, “can you guys not be horrible about this? have a little faith in me, for crying out loud.”
and actually, he’d probably be a lot more sarcastic than that. harry potter is made of 30% snark by volume.
