As far as I know, there is no precedent for this (in shounen), I have never seen a bully in a shounen manga be any more than just that: a goddamn bully.
But bakugo smh gets elevated to ridiculous heights by the author as well as the fandom. Even to the extent that they ship him with the precious, kind, caring and loveable Izuku… I know exactly what you mean when you say it literally makes you sick, trust me, it does the same to me. It’s disturbing as fuck >﹏<
