Strawhats & Friends Smartest to Dumbest

1. Nico Robin: We all know this. Deeply knowledgeable but also HELLA wise. Robin not only knows everything but knows when and how to use it. Once Robin learned to live for herself it was over for you bitches.

2. Nami: Navigator genius on the worlds most dangerous ocean who also knows how to work people to do her bidding? That’s right the two ladies of the straw hats are the smartest ones this should not be news. Nami only lacks Robin’s deep wisdom.

3. Jinbe: Robin mom? Jinbe dad. Maybe not as book smart as the girls but this blueberry is ready at all times to dish out some zen wisdom because Shark Dad Knows Best.

4. Franky: You fucking heard me. Franky is a GENIUS shipright and knows exactly who he is. Franky’s intrapersonal intellignce? Off the fucking charts. Is Franky the weirdest man in the entire world? Probably. But he’s living his best life and that’s more than most can say.

5. Trafalgar Law: Reaching this position purely by being a huge nerd who’s read just so many books. As a D, Law is an absolute moron who doesn’t know how to do basic things like express his feelings or make plans that don’t result in his own death.

6. Tony Tony Chopper: Literally the only reason Chopper is below Law is because he’s had less years to accumulate doctor knowledge. A child prodigy reindeer who’s really only dumb because he’s basically a baby?

7. Usopp: An absolutely ridiculous person who has made a niche for himself by pure multitalented determination. Don’t forget Usopp was the defacto shipwright before Franky and he also painted their flag. He then goes on to develop a hyperspecific fighting style that requires a lot of base knowledge on his part. Usopp good.

8. Nefertari Vivi: Being smart enough to know how to avert a diplomatic incident at the tender age of 10? Impressive. Vivi’s a disaster lesbian who’s real good at appearing like a distinguished lesbian. That’s definitely a skill. I have nothing but respect for Vivi and her nipple weaponry.

9. Sanji: While Sanji has a deep well of specialist knowledge about food and frankly is one of the most strategically minded people in the crew, he is a fool when it comes to literally 50% of the world, which is kind of a big downside.

10. Brook: Easily the Strawhat that’s had the least amount of focus and development, Brook seems like kind of an idiot for being the oldest person on the ship? It’s hard to say, but I have to assume he knows some stuff about music at least.

11. Portgas D Ace: Ace has that big brother wisdom but he literally passed out in a plate of food mid-bite once. Legitimately everyone with the D initial is kind of transcendently stupid in an abstract way and only Law counteracts it by being horrendously book smart.

12. Roronoa Zoro: If you wanted to get the worst summary of the straw hats travels up to this point you would ask Zoro because he spent most of it getting profoundly, absurdly lost. He tried to cut his own feet off once and if you don’t think he’d do it again you don’t understand Zoro.

13. Monkey D. Luffy: Stupidity is an art in this man’s hands. Luffy is honestly very skilled at being a good genuine person and using his rubber body to fight in innovative ways, but he’s literally so profoundly dumb that it doesn’t matter and he’s still the dumbest person here. I love him so much.
