Sorry if this is intruding on yours and phoenixyfriends’s conversation but the shinobi system was addressed as a problem and there were no signs of change or improvement in the epilogue. The issues with the uchiha massacre and hyuga slave seal never really had any closure. Imo

not an intrusion at all! Yeah, they’re dropped threads, I guess. Like the author decided he wasn’t interested in the over-arcing theme that had required those bits and then just… never did anything with it. I know I did plenty of that in Vapors, every once in a while I tell myself that I’m going to edit it and then I look at it and… hmm. Maybe nEVER.
