About Hina being ‘only’ a rear admiral… I think it makes perfect sense for her. Smoker has spent the last 2 years in the New World, basically fixing the Marines worst base, presumably very active catching pirates. Plus, publicly, he is the guy who caught Crocodile (even if the higher ups know it’s false, they’d have to act like it’s true). Hina’s been in Paradise, probably around Alabasta for the last 2 years. Plus, physically speaking, while Hina is strong, Smoker is likely stronger than her.

Anyways, like I was saying, I think it makes sense that Hina is a rear admiral. I feel like the only reason a lot of people want Hina a vice admiral now is only because she’s a woman, and I hate when female characters get reduced down to basically their vagina (Not that I think you’re doing that, obviously, but so very many do, and I’m getting sick of it). Plus, the series isn’t over yet. Who knows? Hina could still be promoted. Well, I just wanted to say that, in regards to Hina.

And about the male fans, I’ve personally never really seen that. I didn’t see it 5 years ago when I was last in the fandom, and I don’t really see it now. Eh. BUT NOW ABOUT SALLY. I’m so excited for her! I really have wanted a royal who isn’t evil, like Charloss, or a saint, like Vivi. One who’s more ‘normal’, with both good parts, and some bad. Thanks, thats what I thought something similar about that too, Smoker is just much more prominent and important to the story and I suppose he’s stronger than Hina, and yes she’s totally gonna be promoted eventually, so her rank now is really ok with me, but please watch your words when you say the fandom wants her to be promoted and be prominent because she’s a woman. One Piece is quite sexist in many ways so it’s understandable when fans (me too) want the few female characters who are total badasses who take no shit like Hina to be promoted and be more important. She’s not being ‘reduced to her vagina’ in the way you make it sound, she’s simply admired for being a female who made it that far in the male dominated marine world, same with Tsuru.

Like dudes where faster than Kizaru to insult Big Mom and say how weak she is and how she’s only a Yonko because she of the political connections she made and not because she’s a powerful fighter while completely ignoring the canon conversation of the Gorosei where they clearly say that she’s one of the only people who are able to stop Blackbeard and I really don’t think Blackbeard is gonna be stopped with goddamn political connections… besides those where the same dudes who were already sucking Kaido’s dick upon hearing his name without any indications of what powers he might have.

Oh yes and back to Sally, I kinda hope shes sort of naive and a little ignorant at first like don’t get me wrong she’s still nice and accepting everything but she’s sort of like Donquixote Homing only that she gets the grip of how horrible nobles are later and just stands up against her own people, saying what they do is wrong and that it needs to be stopped
