In an alternate history timeline that has no Voldemort, the families that were once Death Eaters form an alliance to take over. There is no great villain to stop, no chosen one to have end the war, only people with vastly different views on what is right and wrong.

And there is the most infamous moment in history, the Siege of Hogwarts.
