wellllllll within the context of the MVW AU, it’s important to note that the kids & trolls & sprites upon reaching earth C didn’t just skip 5000 years in the future automatically and instead chose to spend like, the equivalent of five years jumping through time and working as positive historical influences in their universe.

so like. casey went from “young child” to “snarky teen” in salamander years during this time. she was still following john around but she had become more aware of her own upbringing and how fucked it was, especially in regards to 1) literally being kidnapped by a thirteen year old human due to his CONAIR fantasy/psychotic episode and 2) how she was then made an acolyte of death & a necromancer by yet another thirteen year old with mental health issues. and still, she wasn’t respected like the humans and trolls! she was just a consort, just a Game Construct after all.
