OKAY BUT. Why have homestuck quadrants never been applied to cyb?? Kei and Obito are pale for each other, as well as Kakashi and Gai (PALE OTPS 4 LIFE)- Kakashi @ Kei and Obito @ Rin are redrom, of course. Kakashi and Obito could even be a kismesissitude, but tbh I don’t think their hate runs deep enough to actually make that work. Rin could be feeling pale/flushed for Kei AND Obito AND Kakashi which would be horribly confusing?? tbh quadrants make everything worse + better at the same time idk

They kinda have if you count the story planning stages. We just never shared that particular bit of brainstorming with the world.

So if I was to write out that set of headcanons out…

Kakashi ❤ Kei (one-sided flushcrush)

Rin ❤ Kei/Kakashi/Obito (complete clusterfuck)

Obito ❤ Rin (maybe one-sided, maybe not)

Kei <> Obito

Kakashi <> Gai

I’d have to disagree with anything approaching a Kakashi <3< Obito hatemance simply because they actually have a very positive relationship. It’s more of a friendly rivalry where they occasionally try to blow each other up with experimental new jutsu, but not as close to <> as Kakashi and Gai.
