Classpect stuff

cyb-by-lang:

(Follow up on Classpect stuff):

Obito, as an Heir of Doom, would “Change, both IN and THROUGH his Aspect.” It’s a passive change class. Obito would be shaped by Doom. In addition, Heirs are often ruled by a higher power and must come into their powers by learning to do things themselves, which correlates with Madara, though moreso in the Canon timeline. In this case, the ‘higher power’ could be Kei. (X Files theme starts to play.)
The active opposite of the Heir is the Witch (more about Witches later), and the Mage is the counterpart.
Either way, Obito’s path is defined by a guiding ‘higher power’ significantly. There’s much less Doom in this timeline for Obito though, at least for now, so Obito being ‘shaped by doom and shaping through doom’ can only be seen in near misses until more of the future is revealed. He might be less powerful in this timeline due to him lacking access to his aspect.

I’d peg Kakashi as Mind, definitely, but I’d see him as a Mage. Mages have inherent understanding of their aspects; they “use their aspect like a scalpel, or a sword if necessary.” The Mage first understands, then acts; reflected in Keikashi. A Mage is the Heir’s inverse, which pleases the Obito-Kakashi opposites that seem to be going on here. Mages are an active understanding class.
Mind itself represents “the images people put on, their internal logic, and what they do independent of who they are.” Mind players also tend to do things regardless of how people feel, which can be reflected in the whole sharingan sleep/Isobu fiasco. Mind is also associated with lying to yourself and others… does that make you think of anything?

Minato’s is fine, I guess. Stabby mc stab space guy is cool with me. P much literal here. Thoughhhh he could be a Witch if you don’t mind ignoring the gender specifications here, as Witches (as an Active Change class) “take charge of their aspect and shape it as effectively as they can in order to create the change they desire in reality.” That’s as good as I can think of, but I also like Prince due to symbolism and all that.
The opposite of a Witch is a Seer (Kei!) and Counterpart is an Heir (Obito!). Lots of ‘coincidental’ link ups here… but-as Kakashi would tell you, being a Mind player-coincidences aren’t real.

Yup, Rin’s is fine. Synthesizes life and all that, not much more than that, passive healing class, etc etc. Again, pretty straightforward. The opposite of a Sylph is a Prince (possibly Minato) and the Active counterpart is a Maid, reflected in Kushina. Interesting!

Blood! Oh, Blood. Blood is reflected in Bonds (chains, anyone?) and Loyalty. It’s literally “limiting your freedom in order to help something or stay true to a system that is in place.” Jinchuriki to a Tee. It’s used to reflect both societal restraints and limiting yourself to achieve something; heavy emphasis is put on friendship and love.
Maids are an Active Class, focused on creation and healing (…creating blood? Healing blood?). They focus on their aspect, creating through it and making their aspect. This could be a possible allusion to the blood of birth; creating Naruto via blood (again, more applicable in the Canon timeline in which she dies). Passive counterpart is a Sylph (Rin), and Opposite is a Bard.

…that’s it! I really did spend thirty minutes of my life on this, wow. Hope you made it this far! ^.^

All right, Kakashi is now a Mage of Mind. I love how much thought you put into this!

Also, don’t forget that Minato being a Prince of Space means he gets to wear the stupid pants. ~ Lang
